Explore allows you to explore an area to find Points of Interest (POIs).

Component Description

POIs A list of POIs around the selected area. You can sort POIs by type or name.

Note: A POIs saved as My Place is displayed in red colour.

Display area Display the selected POI on the map.

How do I filter POIs on the map?

The POIs panel always displays nearby POIs of all categories. You can sort POIs by type or name.

If you want to filter POIs by keyword, type the keyword(s) in the Filter field. A suggestion drop-down box will

appear when you are typing.

How do I edit a POI name or notes in Explore?

Note: You are only allowed to edit a POI saved as My Place.

1. Select a POI to display the location summary pop-up.

2. Select Add to My Places to save the POI as My Place. The POI icon will become red.

3. Complete one of the following:

If you want to ... Then ...

edit the POI name click the name field. Enter a new name or edit the existing name. The POI name is

changed in both MioMore Desktop and your Mio.

edit the POI tags click the tags field. Enter a new tag or edit the existing tags. The POI tags are changed in

both MioMore Desktop and your Mio.
