How do I view my route?

When a route has been calculated, the Map screen will display. You will be directed to your destination by

spoken and visual instructions.

Item Description

Distance and Time

Information

This will show either your:

z Arrival time (estimated)

z Time to go (estimated)

z Distance to go

z No details at all

This is dependant on your route preference settings. To change settings, tap the undock

button or tap the docked menu in Slide Touch™ mode, and then tap Other Options Æ

Stats on Map. (See “How do I set my route preferences?” on page 10 for details.)

Current route Your current route is highlighted.

Current position

Your current position is marked with

Direction of next turn The direction of your next turn.

Next street The street name of the next turn.

Distance of next turn The distance of your next turn.

Complete the following:

If you want to ... Then ...

adjust the volume of voice

guidance

tap anywhere on the screen and then tap the volume bar to increase or decrease the

volume.

zoom in/out the map tap anywhere on the screen and then:

To zoom out, tap and hold

To zoom in, tap and hold

pause your current route

tap the undock button or tap the docked menu in Slide Touch™ mode and then tap

Tap

to resume your current route.

cancel your current route

tap the undock button or tap the docked menu in Slide Touch™ mode and then tap

detour your route tap the undock button or tap the docked menu in Slide Touch™ mode and then tap the

Detour option. Detours your route to avoid the next 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 kilometers or miles.

view Turn by Turn details to your

destination.

tap the undock button or tap the docked menu in Slide Touch™ mode and then

switch to the Turns screen. Find your destination name at the To section.
